James 1:27 “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”

1 Timothy 5:3 “Honour widows that are widows indeed.”

Proverbs 19:17 “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord ; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.”

The tag of been a widow or widower can be very tough to accept. After your spouse or partner dies, the frightening feeling that you are now a widowed person sets in.
Most of the time widows are ignored by society and they are often viewed as a bad sign in the midst of the people. Many widows are suffering from great poverty and deep depression.
Younger widows are financially unable to take care of their children. Due to their depressed condition many widows are also spiritually dead.
A lot of widows are left abandoned by their own adult children. Widows are in great need of basic necessities and often are left all alone.
The second batch of our Widows’ Outreach was held on the 22 December, 2018. God helped us to Ministered to about 200 widows in the Word of God and Prayers. They were blessed with gift such as Ankara, Rice, Gari, Vegetable Oil, Whole Chicken, Bathing Soap and Candies for their children.
Thank God for the privilege.
